EDEN DUNDEE: GROWING A CLIMATE POSITIVE ECONOMY

Thanks to everyone who attended The Courier Business Conference. I’m sure you will all agree that it was a very engaging and insightful event and our speakers did a sterling job on stage.

Thanks to long-term partners Henderson Loggie, our session sponsors Barnetts Toyota and McLaughlin & Harvey and our event partner Invest in Dundee.

Thanks also to our exhibitors and to you, our guests for joining us.

In the words of our keynote speaker PY Gerbeau, go forth and be “bold and brave” and embrace the opportunities brought about by the exciting development of Eden Dundee.

Take a look at our highlights video and we very much look forward to welcoming you to our next Courier event.

Keynote Speaker

  • Pierre-Yves Gerbeau

With one of the most varied business careers around, PY Gerbeau has a track record of taking on big corporate challenges and turning around struggling organisations, often under intense public scrutiny and stakeholder pressure. His businesses have always placed customers at their centre, whilst also addressing profit, reputation, and frequently issues such as regulation, planning and government involvement. As well as practical, cultural and leadership challenges, many of PY’s projects have been highly visible, subject to intense media and public scrutiny, even extending to a sense that some people were willing them to fail.

"My main takeaway from this event is we need to think big, be bold. We heard from a number of inspirational speakers at this event and hopefully that has inspired business owners and leaders to take that advice on, and create something bigger for Dundee.”
