We work closely with employers and educators to facilitate meaningful relationships that will best support the needs of our young people. By engaging with schools, employers can help young people develop the skills they need to enter the world of work, while building a sustainable pipeline of talent. Sport Aberdeen’s Active Schools Team deliver sportscotland’s national Active Schools initiative in Aberdeen. Active Schools provides free extra curricular sport and physical activity opportunities to encourage children and young people to participate in. The team works with all primary, secondary and additional support needs schools in the city. An army of volunteers, from teachers and school staff, parents, senior pupils, students and sports club coaches, are at the heart of the Active Schools programme, delivering a range of different sports and activities.
